We have been trying to by a house for three years now using the same realtor. Each time something always went wrong and it didn’t go through.
Finally, after pain and torture of another nine months, it looks like we are actually going to purchase our first home and my question is how to properly thank our realtor who stuck with us through all the turmoil.

We want to buy a new home, but we’re having trouble selling our current one. If I have an agent that’s willing to guarantee the lease of my current home for 2-3 years, would a lender be willing to count that as income towards a loan for a new home?

Would you replace doors(perfect working order – just a little dated), fixtures in tubs and sinks? Bathrooms have wallpaper, not awful, but dated. Rest of house freshly painted, new flooring(hardwood and tile). Will those little things make a difference – are they worth replacing? Any other tips appreciated! Thanks.
